Yes, it's tradable. It is a drop from the Dagganoth Kings.

i dont see how this could be true, if the axe is still worth 2.1m... it obviously is for more than just looks....

It is more then it looks, It has a special attack. :P

Just started my new account.

It is true, rune axe is the same as the dragon. Jagex said it themselves. There was a post on it a while back when it first came out. Someone emailed Jagex and they got a response.
