  1. I use genie lamps for skills that are harder to lvl then others. Herblore, prayer, smithing, farming, and runecrafting. The xp that you gain from the lamps are more worthwhile for these skills.
  2. I think there are tons of benefits to hunter. I know theres a topic about it somewhere on the forums but here are some. - Spotted and spottier capes reduce your weight by a significant amount. This can be used for agility training letting you run longer. - New gloves makes you stealthier and you get caught less when thieving. I've tried it myself on knights and it works wonders. - New rabbit's foot ammy helps woodcutters get more bird's nest which can also help with farming or help raise money by selling the seeds. These are just a few of the benefits of hunting and I'm only talking about the clothing. There are new weapons and a lot of other stuff I'm too lazy to bring up. Anyway, if you don't like the skill, don't level it, but don't try and say bad things about it just because it doesn't suit you.
  3. The skill is too new to have a requirement of 65 or 43. It has been less than a week since the skill came out and Jagex won't have a quest with a hunting requirement till next month or maybe even Janurary. If they do come out with a quest, I'm sure the requirement will be pretty low.
  4. I bought my santa at 18m and originally was planning on holding till Christmas time and then selling for a huge profit. Now I think I might just hold on to it because I haven't been playing much and I think it will be a good money maker if I'm not playing. But...if the prices shoot up, I might not be able to help myself... :ohnoes:
  5. I think farming has become a lot more popular since it first came out. It's has become one of the biggest sources of herbs and some secondary ingredients. Also, it's nice to be able to have your own magic or even spirit tree of your own. I stick to planting herbs. It costs too much for tree seeds. It's pretty slow xp but well worth it.
  6. Ghostly robes along with boots of lightness is a great way to go. The lighter you are, the longer you can run, which can take out a lot of travel time. Rogue armor is good also because it has some defence stats and is fairly light.
  7. I make tons of money with dhide. The best is green dhide because there is a lot of supply. I buy for 1300 each and craft bodies. It costs 3900 to make, plus a nat to alch it brings it up to 4200. It alchs for 4680 so you make 480gp per body. It costs a lot to start training with dhide but the training pays for itself and then some.
  8. I'd say it's a pretty good update. I just wish you could cut a pineapple with dagger. That would be nice when I train agility in ape atoll.
  9. PC all the way. I went from 68-75 range with pc. I hate training range and I wanted 100 combat so it worked out great.
  10. Dusties are great xp and I rarely find other people training down there. Still waiting for my d-chain drop though. \
  11. How much money do you have to start off with? Merchanting is always a good way to make money, if you have start-up capital and a good eye. Just wander around world 2 fally and look at what's in high demand. If you find the right item, stick with it and you can make lots of money.
  12. +1 If you don't care about the what you fish and you just want fast xp, I'd say Shilo fly fishing. Without a doubt one of the fastest way to lvl fishing and cooking.
  13. It's pretty strange to not have any of the hundreds of thousands of players to not be lvl-98. I guess all the lvl-98's splurged for the cape.
  14. Always sad to see another member of the RS community leave. I don't blame you. RS is going down the tubes because of greedy people that ruin other peoples gaming experience. Anyway...best of luck!
  15. Very nicely put...I never even thought about it. I stopped using the abyss for rc, too much of a hassel to get pouches back after getting pk'ed.
  16. I say make glass in Entrana till you're 57 and then craft green vambs and alch them. You can buy green hide for 1300 and they alch for 1500. So you just lose 100gp per hide (if you count the nat). Also, it works a lot better if you craft your own nats.
  17. I want a hard quest for the Myrque Series. If it will be the release of the blood alter, it should be hard than getting acess to the death alter. We finally get a glimpse into Castle Drakan and it should be filled with super vampires or something like that. :ohnoes:
  18. If you have the money, green dhide all the way. That's how I got upto 77. I like green dhide because you can actually buy, craft, and alch and you make your money back. It's almost free training. Buy the hide for about 1400 each and craft and alch. You can make green vambs and they alch for 1500. Once you get upto bodies they alch for 4680. If you buy for 1400, the cost comes out to 4200. Add a nat to that and it comes out for 4500. So if you alch, you actually make 180gp per body as well as crafting and mage xp!! It's the best way to go. Good Luck!!
  19. Fire Cape all the way!!! I've owned a d-chain and had to sell because of the way the price was dropping. You can get d-chain and it doesn't take skill. A lvl-3 can merchant and get a d-chain (can't wear but still buy it). Fire cape takes actual skill and is a lot harder to get.
  20. I think the new update is great. The only cape I can get is the quest cape and that's if I suck it up and finish ME2. I think it's great that Jagex is coming out with an update for higher levels because they do deserve it. Also, the costume room is an update for everyone. I'm only 52 construction but I was able to build every hotspot in the room and clear up some space. Overall, I think a lot of people are pleased but you can't please everyone I guess.
  21. Agreed... It's just a game, stop trying to relate it to everything else. Doing all this extra work is unnecessary. It ruins the ambience of the game.
  22. Thanks for the replies!!! =D> I'm sticking with Ape Atoll and I just do one level a day which isn't that bad. I do about 75 laps for a level and it goes by fairly quickly. I also like having the pineapple plant to use for unlimited food.
  23. I wanted to know where I can get a snake charming flute for pyramid plunder? thanks in advance... :P
  24. For some quests, you need a guide. I really don't like puzzles so I'll need a guide with a lot of puzzles (MEII). For the most part, most quests aren't that bad and can be done without guides. 217 Quest Points..
