Since you have 70 ranged, I'd recommend using crystal bow at the ogre enclave. There are a few blues down there and the crystal bow works wonders against them. I never found iron knives to be very effective against blues, but then again, I haven't used iron knives since 68 ranged.

I'd say get a whip. Best melee weapon in the game and lets you use a shield. Worth the investment.

You can just buy them from the shilo fishing shop. You can sell the fish that you caught and sell them to the store and buy some more feathers, endless xp!

WC is very slow. If you want to make good money, very fast, I'd go with the chaos druid option that full_metal suggested. This also gives you an option to raise your herblore so you can make prayer pots which do sell for alot of money. You can access the chaos druids in the Taverly Dungeon.

Cheapest way to train mage!!! I used PC to train range because I hate it. I really don't like to alch for hours so I've been using PC to train mage now. I'm almost 100 combat and I just hit 78 mage. \

The first time I saw an Onyx necklace, it was actually a scam. I was buying a fury and someone put up and onyx necklace. It was a pretty pathetic scam but someone why doesn't know it's a fury ammy they could get scammed. An onyx necklace still sells for about 3.5-3.8m according to Zybez.

I would rather use that one spot for teletab for another rune. When making hundreds of trips to the Abyss, every little spot counts. I just use my Ring of Dueling and use my glory in Castle Wars. Takes about the same amount of time and a ROD is a lot easier to make than teletabs. 28 glories ftw. :thumbsup:

What about a dragon kite? Everyone knows about dropping the two halves which form a pic of the kite. I hope they actually come out with a real full dragon. It might take some time, but they might actually release it when they run out of ideas. They should also ake the dragon plate untradable so people can't just buy the full dragon. It will be the next firecape.

A level-3 member can go to Seers village and start picking flax. They can sell 1k flax and make 100k. Ten 1k flax trips mean a 1m gp for a lvl-3. It's just that simple. The problem is that no one wants to work for the buck these days. That's why there are so many scammers and beggers.

In relation to the wonders of the real world, how about the pyramids in the desert? Also, how about all the rune alters? I think they are also wonders of Runescape.

I think it can be very easy to make money in RS now. People go to world 2 to merchant for about an hour and come out with a million gp more. One thing I did realize was that money isn't everything in this game. You can lose all your money and items because of scammers, staking, or pk'ing, but you can never lose your stats. I got scammed out of 5.3m and I realized that I lost a couple days worth of merchanting, but I still had my skills that I could use to get it all back.

It's really not that bad. Buy low, sell high. I buy D-Squares for 1.5-1.55m and sell for 1.65. Easy 100k each transaction. Think of yourself as the middleman just transferring from buyer to seller (and a quick profit \)

PC all the way. I went from 68-75 ranged without firing a single arrow. It's really good way to train combat and you just use the points for ranged. I went from 93-97 combat with Affliction. Focus on getting 90 combat and then join Affliction.

I don't I visit any guild as much as I visit heroes. It has so much stuff. You can kill a blue dragon, go mining (coal, mith, addy, rune), recharge glories. I think it is the most used non-skill related guild.

Maybe they will redo the dragon gloves with some claws (just to make it look better), dragon boots, and maybe even dragon cape that look like wings. Hotness... :thumbsup:

True. I think it would have been better if they released the pick and made the axe and the pick better than rune at the same update. This way, no one would see it coming. Now everyone knows that the pick will be better than rune. It would have been a nice surprise. Everyone would be out looking for a dragon pick and axe at the same time. Sheer madness! :ohnoes:

If money is an issue (it is for me), just use accurate rather than rapid. You get about 250 shots before the bow degrades so about 2500 before it becomes a seed again. Make the shots count. You get about 20 shots per minute in accurate and 25 in rapid.* * I didn't do the calculation so I can't get credit. It's in one of the posts here on the forum I just don't know which one.

Pretty much the best way to go. With Torags, you'll definitely get your bang for the buck. If you're just getting plate and legs, you can also go with Dharok which is the same price. If you're really interested in heavy duty strength training, then just get the full set and unleash hell. Edit - Someone just hit an 87 on blue portal in PC! :shock:

Confirmed! At 70 range, I used the bow at 2/10 and I was able to hit 15's with it. Excellent weapon but the first recharge is very expensive (900k) but worth every gp. I made my money back by using the bow on blue dragons.

Go to lumby castle basement. You need to do the Lost Tribe quest to be able to use it. Definitely worth doing the quest.
