  1. If you have all those iron bars, just make iron knives. The steel knives won't make that much of a difference. Once you start killing higher level monsters, turn to steel. Save the steel bars for cannonballs.
  2. I want dragon boots. It can also have a special called dropkick to the groin. It would be nice to have replacement for rune and climbing boots. It should also have +5 str boost.
  3. I wonder if items can be traded once it's made. You can have someone selling d'hide armor, bows, and arrows for people doing lost city quest.
  4. It won't let you get through. It says that there is a magical force stopping you from getting in.
  5. 1. Fire Cape 2. Legends Cape 3. God Cape 4. Bone Bag 5. Fremmy Cape 6. Obby Cape 7. Reg. Cape
  6. I'm trying to get a rune defender to use with the knives. I think that will help out. Would I be able to get to 70 range with 10k knives without picking them up?
  7. I was thinking about iron knives as well and I have 2k iron bars in stock so that would mean 10k knives. If I did a knives approach, I would probably go with fire giants because of the drops (I could use a bank marker for my d-square). How effective would I be if I ranged a blue dragon? My range is only 60 and I would be using knives. This would be a good way for me because I could use the hides for crafting and the bones to sell or for prayer.
  8. The maze makes it very annoying to craft chaos. I don't know how people crafted these runes before the abyss came out.
  9. This is called drop trading and both of your accounts might get banned if you get caught.
  10. I just hit 60 range a few days ago and now I would like to aim for 70 so I can wear black d'hide and be a more effective Barrower. I have a cannon and I was thinking about the lighthouse. If there is a better alternative, please fill me in. Also, approximately how many cballs would I need to get to level 70. I have a stockpile of steel bars that I am currently in the process of smelting into cballs. Any help would be much appreciated.
  11. I like that place also but I wish you could see what's happening on the ground and other people could see you. I think that would really make this place shine.
  12. Edgy for me also, but for selling goods and RCrafting.
  13. lol...that's pretty funny! I never saw that before. Anyway, sorry about the loss but there have been many posts about Randoms occuring after Pest Control. Anyone who has a rare would want to show it off. If you have a Ferrari, you would want to show it off so why not a P-Hat.
  14. Crafting get a lot easier to level once you get upto DHide armor. It's a skill that you can level without spending money. You can power craft in a few different places and if you stick to it, you will level quickly. If you power-farm, farming all the available allotments at once, you will find yourself leveling very quickly. Always use super compost and try to use the highest possible seeds that you can use. Plus, the occasional tree seeds for xp boost. For firemaking, just go to an F2P Lumby gen. store and buy willows and then burn them. It's fairly cheap because the store is usually overstocked and you have an almost endless supply. Or you can just cut willows because you can get a full inventory in a couple minutes. I don't know much about construction. I stopped at lvl-36 because it's too expensive to level. I'm currently stocking up on different planks and other supplies and I will resume training soon. I like some of your ideas but they are really far off because of the high requirements. I like the idea for dragon boots but dragon arrows would be too expensive. Rune arrows are 400 each and each dragon arrow would be like 1000+. Also, a fruit that healed 50 would be insane. I use tuna potato and I think it heals a lot. With a fruit like that, no one would need prayer pots and KQ, CE, KBD, and DK slaying would not be a challenge and everyone would be able to do it. Not to mention, all the new fire cape owners.
  15. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page= ... htm#staffs It says that they have the attack stats of a rune long. It can be used as a decent melee weapon if you run out of runes.
  16. I used the Wildy to train until Ape Atoll came out. I never encountered any pk'ers and its relatively easy to get to using the Ardy lever. Just make sure you bring a knife with you. Just bring cakes with you and if you run low, just use the Mage Arena bank, but be wary of pk'ers. Ape Atoll is a great place to train, there are endless sources of food and you'll be able to train for hours. I usually tele there and then pick a full inventory of bananas. There is a pineapple plant that you can use, just make sure you bring a knife to cut it up. Good Luck!
  17. There are programs such as CursorXP that can apply skins to cursors. They also have a few effects that appear when a mouse is clicked.
  18. You should use the range in Lumby Castle because Jagex said that it reduces the chances of burning something. It's close to the chest but just annoying going up and down the ladder.
  19. lol... Anyway, another good place is the Tree Gnome Stronghold. There you can get 5 bars and 5 dust. This used to be a popular spot until RFD came out.
  20. Every skill has it's fair share of advantages and disadvantages. It's pretty obvious why the monsters don't have drops and why you don't get xp from them. Jagex still wants you to go to Brimhaven Dungeon to fight metals, not just fight them in the comfort of your own home, which might have an alter which eliminates the need for prayer pots. The skill is still new, Jagex will build on it and I'm sure it will only get better.
  21. You can also make orbs or lantern lens in Entrana to power craft. All the materials are on the island and its pretty good xp. You can also mine clay in the crafting guild and make lids and such. You can kill cows next to the guild, tan the hide, and make leather armor. You can also mine gems in Shilo and you get good xp from cutting the gems. Come to think of it, there are plenty of ways to train crafting without having to buy a lot of materials.
  22. I am a dragon chain away from a full dragon. I want one badly but I think it is a waste of money. It is a waste if you want it to be your best armor but not so much if you want to show off, similar to a fury. With this said, I still want the chain but I'm scared about the price drop. It was about 24m like a month ago and since then it dropped to about 20m. Anyway, hopefully dragon plates will be out by the time I have a ton of money to show off with.
  23. Just like every other skill, if you use money, you will level a lot faster. You can level construction by gathering your resources such as plank, nail, clay, limestone, and keep building the same thing over and over. You will level but it will take you a very long time. So you invest in some higher level materials so you level quicker. Now, take fletching for example. You can cut your own trees, spin your own bowstring, and you'll be able to level. Some people spend money on the logs, bowstring, or flax, so they can level at a faster rate. It's your own choice on how you want to level. There's an opportunity cost for everything, including time.
  24. You're being selfish also. Like someone said, a few people might have lost some valuables but lots of other people have a lot to lose also. What if someone got a D-Chain and Jagex did a rollback and he lost the drop. What about countless others training their skills and for them to lose all that xp. All I know, if it was on every world and it affected a majority of the RS community, then Jagex might have done a roll back. They certainly won't do a rollback for a select few people who lost some pixels. Sorry about your loss.
  25. I think the guy that actually followed his directions is dumber. If he actually fell for it, he should just give up IRL too. There's no justification for actually putting the chain on the table.
