Sharane Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Alright, I am a bit desperate now... I am level 93 and I have tried several times killing this hard monster. The first tries ended with near death while the latest got me killed and I lost a lot of runes as well as pieces of my splitbark armour... Could anyone who has done this quest aid me in what ways I can finish him off? It just seems to always freeze me and I couldn't even warp out last time... :cry: Make sure you bring a non-magical teleport such as ectophial or elf crystal just incase your mage gets drained lower than your ability to tele. Bring restores or preferably super restores and use them anytime that your mage level is threatened. Use your best fire spell unless your mage is barely above the level needed to cast it. Fire spells + restores = victory. I need to make me hundreds more again. :cry: Make nats or laws then sell or trade for deaths. Death tally and quest isn't worth the work involved. Try getting up close and using mage pro. His melee isn't that strong from what I remember and it will help lower your total damage taken. When I did it I was only 80 something combat, pretty even all around, and beat him easily the second try with that method. First time I tried to melee and got stomped lol. This isn't the wildy so honor is not even mentioning against a NPC... not like the wildy is overflowing with honorable pkers but you get the idea. Good luck though and it is worth the cost for super restores and sara brews if you get owned again. How am I supposed to avoid that spell especially when I am wearing armour lowering magic defence? :? Yes I were. :) I killed him at last doing melee protect with zamorak robes (given to me by a very nice person) and a dragon mace. :D Now I'm having a little bit of troubles handling Dessous with the same tactic...
