April 29, 200620 yr Defence, consider using: 1. Soft leather body + Dragonhide accessories 10. Hard leather body + D-hide, it's possible the ranged attack bonus will compensate for the extra (defence) combat level. Ranged, just keep practicing, upgrade bow and armour as soon as you have the level to. You may want magic (weaken/curse training) up to the point where you can teleport. In members, of course, you could progress fletching, for bronze training arrows, knives, darts etc. If you are afraid of getting caught drop-trading or middleman transferring, then you also need a supporting skill. For a member ranger, fletching would be an obvious supporting skill. In F2P, since you can't make your own weapon and ammunition (the ranger is hard done by compared to the warrior and mage), you need trade goods such as food (fishing/cooking), ores (mining), or smithed/crafted items.
