Slayer Question

Well im 80 combat with 74 range and 78 mage,but thats not important, I was training slayer and i got the task of 140 desert lizards :( , i know u can change by going to the slayer master in burthrope,but he wont change it,now obviously ill have to kill them,but can any1 explain why that happened?

You can only change tasks that the burthorp master does not assign....and he assigns desret lizards, so you cant change it. he doesnt assign bronze drags lets say, so you could change that task if you got BD's.

i just had to kill 132 of them, their not that bad to kill their hp is like 24, took me maybe a hour to kill them......piesce of cake

my one word of warning to anyone who fights lizards: Do NOT think for a second that you can "just barely squeeze by" on your water supply just to kill those last couple lizards. Dying of thirst while trying to click "go-through Shantay Pass" would be really really humiliating. (no it didnt happen to me, but i got down to 4hp)
