DegenerateX
Alright here is my problem. Here are my stats below. At the moment I am F2P and I want to raise my stats to the point where the day I join P2P I can start staking. Right now I have 500k but I am willing to get and spend a lot more to reach my goals. I want to eventualy turn into a staker (possibly a pker). I dont want to start all over by making a new account so I want to have advice on how to proceed with the stats I already have. Some Questions I would like answered: 1. Is there any specific stat or stats I should raise to become a staker? 2. What should I train and where should I stop? 3. Where should I be raising this stat(s) 4. How much will it cost me to reach that point? 5. Is there anyway that my current non-combat skills can help me reach that point? Is there a non-combat skill lvl I should reach in order to make money to fund this mass training objective? 6. What equipment should I be using and how much will it cost. 7. What is the formula for Calculating combat level? I would like to be able to train my other combat stats as high as they can without raising the combat lvl by too much (I have heard ranging is good). Please Note: I do not want to know ways to train my combat without raising hp. To me hp is a good thing worth raising your combat lvl over. Looking for someone to teach me how to Armadyl farm - pm me10,200th Person to Achieve 99 Magic on 1/10/

RAHK
Alright here is my problem. Here are my stats below. At the moment I am F2P and I want to raise my stats to the point where the day I join P2P I can start staking. Right now I have 500k but I am willing to get and spend a lot more to reach my goals. I want to eventualy turn into a staker (possibly a pker). I dont want to start all over by making a new account so I want to have advice on how to proceed with the stats I already have. Some Questions I would like answered: 1. Is there any specific stat or stats I should raise to become a staker? Stakers are found of every stat other than strength and prayer to some extent. Strength needs to be high enough to do damage (60 or 70 range) but attack should be much higher. Pkers on the other hand need high strength so they can KO before their target escapes. It is one or the other for the best result. 2. What should I train and where should I stop? Train all of your stats as high as possible with the following exceptions: Str ~ 60-70 and prayer at a max of 43 if at all. Pkers should get smite and higher strength (10 or 20 levels higher than attack) if they want to be the most destructive. 3. Where should I be raising this stat(s) As in training grounds? From your stats I am assuming that you are F2P. Guards, hobgoblins, lessers, and that's about it for melee. Mage and range should do the same but at higher levels between transitions. 4. How much will it cost me to reach that point? TOTALLY depends on equipment and ammunition. Always train with str pots when meleeing and do the best spells you can afford. Higher arrows should only be used on hard targets if at all for training. If you get rich by all means use addy of course. 5. Is there anyway that my current non-combat skills can help me reach that point? Is there a non-combat skill lvl I should reach in order to make money to fund this mass training objective? Mine coal and iron or buy it (150-200 ea and 50-100 ea respectively). Smelt steel bars and sell them. Other than that go pound on some giants (which aren't bad training at all) and sell big bones 400 ea. Groups of 1k or more are always preferable. 6. What equipment should I be using and how much will it cost. ALWAYS use the best melee gear you can afford. Upgrade your weapon before your armor. Scimmy is the best choice for xp. Rune full is 200k and scimmy is 20-35k. World 1 will fetch you the best deals. Buy your arrows from the shop or other players if you can afford it. Use bronze arrows or iron unless you can easily afford addy for training. ALWAYS wear the best gear for your level when ranging or maging. Mage gear is cheap as is range (for f2p). Full green is 10k-18k with 15k being very fair. Mage cheaply with curse or expensively with the highest offensive spell you can cast. Once you hit 55 you can alch for average cash and decent xp. Never low alch. 7. What is the formula for Calculating combat level? I would like to be able to train my other combat stats as high as they can without raising the combat lvl by too much (I have heard ranging is good). There is a combat calc on tip.it so use it for all your needs. Please Note: I do not want to know ways to train my combat without raising hp. To me hp is a good thing worth raising your combat lvl over. The only thing that I suggested that does not give hp xp is mage. Any spell that does not do damage does not give hp xp. Hope that helps and good luck! DegenerateX
Thanks a lot. Since I want to become a staker moreso than a pker this is how I understand what you just told me. Get my attack as high as I can with my strength below it? SO my build would look like Attack:80 Strength: 70 Range: 70 Magic: 55 Prayer:31 (to get 15%+ strength) NonCombat Skills:.....doesnt matter. Is this aproximately what you were refering to? And what would this character be using range, mage, or melee? or does it depend on what opponent your facing? Do the terms of battles affect which type I use as well for example stand still and moving around? RAHK
Thanks a lot. Since I want to become a staker moreso than a pker this is how I understand what you just told me. Get my attack as high as I can with my strength below it? SO my build would look like: I would suggest the second number: Attack:80 99 or 80+ Strength: 70 24-25 levels below your attack minimum 65 Range: 70 99 or 80 plus Magic: 55 99 or 94 or any other blood spell level Prayer:31 (to get 15%+ strength) 43 or 1. Remember that strength is not that important You forgot Defense: 70 min but higher is always preferred (99) NonCombat Skills:.....doesnt matter. It is expensive to train and stake so raise your fletch and make and alch mage longs or yews if you must. Incredibly fast and easy xp plus very steady cash once you hit yews. Fletch every thing you cut or bank it until you can. Is this aproximately what you were refering to? And what would this character be using range, mage, or melee? or does it depend on what opponent your facing? I described above. With this build you can easily beat people in any fight PROVIDED YOU USE THE RULES!!! With these stats you will be equal to or superior to all other stakers in STATS. 90% of dueling is using the rules to your advantage and playing smart. With a high defense and good armor you become a nearly impenatrable fortess. Mage level also effects your DEFENSE against mage attacks and it is rumored that the same holds true for range. I would suggest raising both even if you do not plan on using them otherwise turn those options off during a duel. Do the terms of battles affect which type I use as well for example stand still and moving around? Terms of battle can allow a level 3 to beat an unprepared level 126 EASILY!!! It is ALL about the rules. I would suggest playing about 100 games with different rules for fun before you find what you like. ALWAYS watch for quick changes in rules before AND after you accept the first duel screen. Good luck! P.S. This will help others as well so I also replied here instead of just the pm. ste_boz
Terms of battle can allow a level 3 to beat an unprepared level 126 EASILY!!! You cant be serious! How the hell could that happen? RSN: Ste_Boz
meol
Maybe with an old scam... You should be aware of it too. The players arrange, for example, a range duel. The high leveled takes a bow, and the low leveled bronze knives or darts. At the last moment, the low leveled puts "shield" off, what really means "off-hand off", so, the high leveled player can't use the bow (and can't attack at all). mike2044
First of all your stats are all very well, my stats are around the same. ok, first things first. You definatly would want to make sure you have full rune. this includes rune legs pl8body full helm kite and skimmy. This will cost anywhere between 100k to 200k. In order to be a staker inportant things to look for are strength and defence. First, your strength. It determins the max hit you can do. This a very very important part of any staker. Next is defence. Also with strength it is a very essential part of any staker defence is how well you are protected against another persons max hit. The average staker must have both of these up to a lvl 55 (this is only an average). Other than that, there are only 2 non combat skills you need. Fishing for food and cooking for the food. You wouldnt want to stake a d-sword and lose because the other person has food. that would be bad. Other than that you are set to stake. P.s. technically, you dont really have to be good at any skill. some people like to fight just for fun AND you dont lose any items if you donot stake anything. I have seen anywhere from lvl 3-126 staking eachother. If. you have any questions please feel free to ask me on rs, my name is mike2043.
