Well, i decided to try out paint today for my first time.. im really too lazy to shade any better or draw a background lol..

Looks good so far.

 

 

 

But the cape looks a little rigid, and as you said, needs shading.

yeah ill get around to fixing it. lol im already thinking about my second..

The hand holding the staff looks incredibly unnatural and awkward (try putting your own hand in that position, it's all bent and uncomfortable), consider revising. His right arm also looks remarkably skinny, did he get polio when he was younger? :?

It looks just like the staff is stuck in his head :o

 

 

 

but it looks good, quite good shading, i like the hat most
