After doing a fair bit of research, i have narrowed down the parts that i intend to build my first computer with. This is what i intend to buy.

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (S939) - $237.60 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_27_29&products_id=11478

Asus A8N-E motherboard - $146.30 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_36_63&products_id=16007

Kingston DDR 1Gb PC3200 Ram - $135.00 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_23&products_id=16856

Western Digital 250Gb 7200 8Mb Cache Hard Disk - $133.10 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_107_22&products_id=5888

Asus GeForce 6600GT, 256MB GDDR3, PCI EXPRESS 16X - $225.50 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_26&products_id=16631

Antec TruePower II-380 Watt PSU - $89.00 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_74&products_id=18108

Total - $966.50

I'm just after a second opinion. I'm pretty confident in all the parts i picked and they should all go well together, but i would still like to know what some of you here think about it and if there's anything i should swap out and if so, what i should swap it out for. Also, if there is something you think needs to be swapped, could you please choose something from that site. Despite the small range, they seem to have some of the better prices compared to some other Australian site I've visited. That and there in the same state as i am, so delivery prices shouldn't hurt too much.

Basically what I'm after is a bit of reassurance. Id rather buy these parts with the knowledge that I've researched them and that other people have had a look at the parts and they agree with what I'm buying than going ahead and buying them with out someone else having a look at them which may come back and bite me in the arse in the future.

So, comments and criticism please?

Yes, ill temporaraily borrow one from the computer im using now.

As for the graphics card, i dont intend to do alot of heavy gaming yet so a 6600GT should be fine for my needs for a while.

Edit: Seeing as im sort of trying to keep it all under $1k for the time being, im wondering if i should swap the A8N-E out for this.

Asus A8N5X motherboard - $115.50 - http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=93_36_63&products_id=17297

It seems to be an alright board which would fit nicely within my budget. Any one think otherwise?
