TRANSFER RATE!!! HE:LP

 

 

 

ok i have broadband telstra broadband my comp is quite fast but when im downloading anythings its only 25 kb per sec each transfer rate!!!!!!??!?!?!!? why is that my friend has dial up hes is 65. per sec..........??????????/ someone pleasse answer this or tell me how to fix

There are three things that I would like to stress as being particularly important in order to maintain an easy to use help board that provides speedy answers.

 

 

 

1) Please, use the search button, read the stickies and read the Announcement board. Chances are there are more people than just you who have your problem, and many answers can be found in 30 seconds by searching, instead of waiting for users to see and reply to a new topic.

 

 

 

2) Always be specific with your post's title, the subject line should indicate what's inside the thread. "Look here!" "Read!! This is important!" "Question." or "Help me! Quick!" do not constitute acceptable thread titles. Using an appropriate title will attract more users who know about your specific problem to read and reply to your topic. Topics without an appropriate title may be locked immediately without explanation.

 

 

 

3) Please, provide as much information about your current problem as possible. In many cases users find themselves in a constant relay of questions to find out more information about the problem only to discover that it was something extremely simple and could've been answered very easily if all the info had been provided to begin with!

 

 

 

 

 

Comply with the above rules, and you will find that your answers will be more likely to be helpful, and that the people that GIVE the answers will be more willing to continue to do so... and the more we can do to make the people that give of their own free time to help out here, the better :)
