I don't understand how that on rs it says you have to be a member to cut down maple trees but, you don't have to be a member to light them.

 

 

 

Plz can someone xplain.

Maples are only found in the members only bits of the world (though the gates NW of falador).

 

 

 

However, maple logs can be traded in free worlds and, if you use a tinderbox on one in a free world, you can light a fire with them (same as with oak or normal logs).
