May 18, 200620 yr ok some i got 63 combat and can easily defeat the stupid lvl 111 Slash Bash guy. The only problem is that every time i get him down to like 10 hp he always disappears and a message says "Slash Bash has fled at your feeble attempts to beat him and awaits for a real challenge" or something like that. May 18, 200620 yr This happened to me at Koschei the Deathless (Fremennik) because the battle took too long. Are you using Ogre arrows or Brutal arrows and Composite Ogre bow? This is the preferred weapon/ammo for this quest. Perhaps meleeing him mostly and then switching at the end?
