I am currently wishing to raise my slayer level from 40. I am still undecided which Slayer Master to use though. If I post my stats can people please give their opinions on the ideal mix between good experience and not too hard hitting monsters? I will be using a mix between mage and melee, but I will post my range level just in case I decide to use that.

well vannaka slayer master is good for lower levels

 

if u cant do him, do the guy lower

I'd say not. For me Vannaka sucked - about the same level as you (see below), all I got was werewolves (they hit too hard to melee and I don't like range that much-you might be able to mage them but it'd cost a bit). I use Chaeldar (sp?) in Zanaris and usually I get Trolls (easy xp and reasonable drops), I never had one I needed to Burthorpe.
