Eeesh someone really needs to make a sticky on merchanting. You could try willows to get you started because you can buy them from the general store for 12gp and sell the to players for about 35gp. That is about all I can suggest because I don't merchant lol.

- willow logs ( go nonmemb draynor and buy for 30. go memb camelot sell for 40 )

 

- cowhides ( this is hard. u need constant buyers. buy for 100 sell for 140 )

 

- coal ( easier but you need to find the right ppl. buy for 150 and sell for 200 )

 

- feathers ( you can buy for as low as 3gp and sell to memb high lvl fishers for 10 ea. they luv fly fishing )

 

- runes. any of them can do. even cosmic. just need to know the lowest and highest prices. the update for mage arena increased the popularity of some runes that were deemed useless like cosmics.

 

- rares. provided u hav loads of money, don't do this. you can lose alot of money. find out the time zones when the prices r low and when they r high. if u play much, you can actually discover that some times, the prices r 3 mill cheaper. buy them and sell them later on in the day for higher prices.

 

- lobs ( i bought them for 200 and sold for 250. juz find a high lvl fisher who will sell to you regularly. u could meet with him once a wk to buy all his lobs and sell them within the week. im not sure whether lobs r still hot though )

 

 

 

Don't merchant these items:

 

- rune items ( you wont profit much. many ppl r familiar with the prices )

 

- treasure trail items especially trimmed armor ( prices fluctuate )

 

- gold bars ( i don't know much about these but i lost alot of my cash )

 

- rune ess ( miners noe the prices )

 

- potions ( unless you are really an expert merchanter which i am not )

 

 

 

there are loads more. but start from the basic. when you have quite some cash, experiment around. you could even be better than me. but have loads of patience. i lost loads of cash and at times, you may seem to lose alot and not earn profit. persevere. haha. its been 2 mths since i played. when you have enough, just buy some rares ( wearable ones preferably ). i logged back in today to find that my mask set rose by at least 5 mill in price.

 

 

 

i've answered at least 3 such questions today.

 

 

 

and one more advice. try to focus on one type of product. if u divide your wealth on two or more products, you also will have to divide your attention on selling more than one items on forums and it is very hard to do so. you would be wasting time and time is precious in finding good offers and buyers. also, sell in big bulk, that way, people tend to offer more. hahaz.

ive been currently merchenting iron for about 20 minutes :) i bought 60 ea, sold 100 :D ive doubled my money (now 22k lol)
