im on my old computer because my new one is getting repaired and i go to play runescape and i get an error that says "MRJ 2.1 or later is required to run Java inside internet explorer. Please make sure you have an updated version installed correctly"

 

Im using a Macintosh OS 8.5 on dial up with Internet Explorer 5. What should i do so i can play runescape on this computer.

Up date it to internet explorer 6 and the lastest java internet explorer 6 is so much more stable anyway.

i looked on ,icrosoft's website and IE 6 isnt available for Mac OS 8.5

I don't think IE for mac is still being developed. Try Firefox, Camino or Safari.

 

 

 

Then get the latest version of Java.

the camino and firefox links go to the smae place. and plus those browsers you showed me were for OS X im running OS 8.5. the java site is only for OS X also.

i have a new computer that i got in 2005 and it is a laptop, my friend pulled it off my desk(by the charger plug) and it hit the floor so hard that the hard drive broke... so now im getting that fixed, im only using the old computer until that is fixed.
