well i been trainin mage and in under 200 laws i got him 2 times yet i get him less often while fishin y is this.

You will get more random events if you are doing the same thing over and over, what with Jagex's new anti-macroer technology. While fishing I doubt you take the same path over and over again, where as in teleing you do.

Random events seem to "barrage" a certain area at once - the Karamja pier can be a real hotspot.

 

 

 

It is not always repetetive actions, sometimes the first time you do something (though possibly on the first break from repetition) seems to be just as hot.

 

 

 

Had bob 2 or 3 times now, always fishing. Bob seems to rare anywhere else, other than disturbing mage trainers.

 

 

 

The fishing spot though:

 

Had: Sandwich lady, frogs, certer, Bob, Mime

 

Seen: Cap'n hand, drunk dwarf, Drill demon.

 

 

 

I got my drill demon at Aubury's teleport, along with several lost & founds.

 

 

 

 

 

My firm belief is that an area is either targeted (and groups tend to attract that) or not, I'd say whenever you see a random, you are more likely to get it yourself if you stick around.
