Noob photoshop question

Hmmm ok basically im trying to make a logo for my friends cs clan and i put the type box but it wont let me type , I have a black flashing line going down through the angle changer in middle which has never happened before. Anyone know why this is and how I can set it back to normal?

well asuming your keyboard is plugged in .. . .

make sure the font size and color aren't hiding it from ya .. o and also make sure the text layer is BEFORE the background. . .thast all i can think of right now ..

All tryed, Colour black on white bg and others, Key board PLUGGED IN!!!!! :P , yup text own layor, font size 72 - 16 tryed

make a new layer and put it infront of the bg ... and then jsut type wut u want to put on it

check your blending that might be your problem.

Your description of what's happening is kind of unclear, could you take a screenshot of it?

well a very quick and easy solution is click on a different tool then deleet the text layer, then click the text tool and click once on your sig and start typing (photoshop text tool is different to the ms paint's text tool tool) :P

photshop.jpg basically i just make the text box click to put cursor down start to type and anything i type is actually becoming the name of the layer.*looks blank faced*

make a new file. . .do 400x pixels by 400 pixels. . ..

 

 

 

then change the font to 20 .. .and then wit hte typing tool just click once. . and then type wut u want . .try that .. .i'm not quite sure wut hte problem is ..
