I built my portals but I haven't put in any teleports yet, because I don't know if you remove your portal and put a higher level one if you keep the teleport spells you bought from the portal. Anyone know if you keep them or not?

i would guess you wold lose them, as you wold be removing, not upgrading

I tried this cause I decided to rebuild my portal room closer to the entry-portal anyway (ouch, another 100k...). I had 1 teak portal focused in my old portal room. Removed the portal and build a new one with 3 teak portal. I didn't have to focus it again and could tele right away! So that gp was good for something...
