June 10, 200620 yr Sorry man, there is NO player market for these items at all (except to some desperate person doing Digsite quest who needs an Opal). You can use a chisel on them to make cut gems. Then use the chisel again on your cut opals (assuming you didn't ruin them, which happens randomly) to make opal bolt tips. These activites earn some crafting experience. You can buy bolts for 3-5 gp each and put the opal bolt tips on them for some small fletching xp. There's no market for these either, since crossbows are regarded as underpowered. You can sell them a handful at a time to any General store and make very small amounts of cash. If you do any Jungle CleanUp at all (there's a guide in the Tip.It minigames section), you can sell the gems to the storekeeper in there (G-something is his name, I think). He gives trading sticks for them, which can be used to pay for access to the main Teak and Mahogany tree cutting area. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
