Best bow for barrows

Of these three, which one's the best?

 

 

 

Magic Shortbow (with rune arrows)

 

Crystal Bow

 

Kharil's Bow

 

 

 

Price is an issue, but not all important. For the crystal bow, assume that each repair is 180k.

Magic shortbow with rune arrows is cheap and you can use the special.

 

Crystal bow degrades after a while, so unless you have a couple of them, it's not worth it.

 

Karil's crossbow hits good, but uses bolt racks which are one time used. But since you get them back from barrows i guess it's an alright weapon to bring, and it degrades much less slower than crystal bow.

 

 

 

I'm pretty sure crystal bow hits the highest, which is around 20% - 25% of your ranged level, depending on the charge your bow has left. 99 Ranged, using potions, with Magic shortbow and rune arrows only hits low 20s. You can also use the TipIt max hit for ranged, this will give you an idea.

 

Crystal bow is the cheapest. (Assuming the charge price is 180k, and you pick up the rune arrows, where you lose on average an arrow per three arrows. And buy your rune arrows for 300gp - 400gp.)

 

Although you might consider Karil's crossbow as you get bolt racks through the chest (provided you get some kills inside the crypts)

 

At a lower ranged level (where you cannot use crystal bow or Karil's bow), magic shortbow's special will really help.
