is there an easier way to get mage exp cause ive tried goin to mage tower and there is usually a higher lvl rdy to pk me so can someone hjelp im f2p with 26 mage thanks

fire strikes with a fire staff is the spell to use til 55. I'd suggest you at the jail house east of draynor, there's a safe little fence there so they can't hurt you.

I reccomend earth strike as its only 1 air instead of the 2 for fire stirke, and is very close the same amount of exp. I would recomend then guards on the varrock castle roof.

The whole point of 'cursing' is to fail it, your supposed to wear tons of things that'll lower your magical ability. That way you can repeat the cursing process.

If you wear any full metal armor then you will have a magic attack stat of -65.

 

That is enough to always fail when casting the Curse spell.

 

Even though you will fail it, you will still always get the full 29 mage exp for the cast :)

 

 

 

If you want to cast with an elemental staff then add green vambraces to keep yourself at -65.

 

 

 

This way you can keep casting on the same monster.

 

The 4 zombie ladder room in the varrock sewers is a popular spot.

 

Cast from the key room across the water.
