pokemama Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 First you need to talk to the Candle Seller next to the dungeon/cave entrance in Lumby swamps. He "teaches" you how to make lamps/lanterns (if you try before talking to him, the game says that you don't know how to make em.) Grab some swamp tar from nearby spawns while you are there. Then blow glass as needed, see crafting guide http://tip.it/runescape/?page=crafting_guide.htm#glass Lamp assembly and lighting, including making oil from swamp tar, is addressed in the firemaking guide http://tip.it/runescape/?page=firemakin ... m#Lanterns Finally, if you choose to make lanterns (sturdier and pretty much immune to going out), you can smith a lantern from one iron bar (lvl 26 smithing) or a bullseye lantern from one steel bar (lvl 49 smithing). You use these with specific glass parts to assemble.
