Hah, that's power abuse! (Well, I abused it myself too!). You walk to cave with drill machine, go to Exit (Tunnel), extinguishe your light and wait! After a while light will disappear and you'll get hitted. When you'll die, you'll still be attacked. And only way to get off those swarms - light your lantern, or if you dont have one - ask any friend (omigosh dont got one? ask any random person) to bring to you Candle (NOT LIGHT ONE, extinguished one) and tinderbox. So he drops it next to you, wait for it to appear and take em. Light em. Then you should be kicked off RS (At least happened to me after P Mod got light to me :P). Log in - and voala.

though I have no idea what the person is talking about otherwise...the drill machine has to do with the storyline of the new quest. There is a cave next to the lumbridge waterwheel place (north of the general store) where the antagonist of the quest has built a drill machine. I believe this is the cave they are talking about.
