K, Im not exactly a computer wiz and I figure someone here is given the name of the forum :P . What Im trying to do is make a pic that I have saved the right size to use as my avatar. If anyone can help that would be great :D

If you want to do them yourself just download GIMP and use the resize tool. (Select tool, click on image, type in size you want)
