iuqiddis_sm
What is the speed of the different barrows weapon compared to other weapons, such as dragon longs, dragon schimmy and the whip? thanks
LJoker
Go to RuneScape main-page and select "Read the manual" then select: Home > Manual > Combat > Combat - Weapon Types
Lord_Gromit
They're all about the same as a longsword except the greataxe, which is the same as a 2h.
iuqiddis_sm
thanks guys. and thanks for the manual link, i didn't realize they changed the speed levels into nice, fancy bars. another question. is the great axe set (dharok's i think) worth it for training quickly? I'm lvl 97 if thats any help.
LJoker
For training combat, yes. Train with 15 to 20 hp left so you can hit harder. The best just train against a low level monster with level 40 +/-. One that you can kill in 1 hit. like Giant skeletons or red spiders. If you thinking about go slayer with it ... i rather go with whip. Anyway be careful of the Evil Chicken. If he comes up it's very probable you die, so use protect item all time if you Dharok traning. Unless you don't care about Dharok Helm (not 100% sure if it's the Helm you lose). iuqiddis_sm
thanks again. I was planning to use it for training combat, not slayer. So i guess it'll work. But to clearify, using dhorak's instead of the whip will give like a decent xp boost? i mean at least 20% or more? I'd put up on these questions altogether, but they are coming to me as you respond. LJoker
It can go from -50 to +50% boost. The question is how much you want to risk for that extra??? The lower it is your hp => best hits => higher hp monsters => more xp Ask everything you like :-w
iuqiddis_sm
thanks again. well im 80 hp, so i figured i can hover around 20 to 25 hits with some altar near by. My natural hit with the great axe is 22 but iono how much it will increase by if i drop to 20 to 25 hits. But if you are right, then i should have signifcant increase in xp rate. which is awesome :)
