Ok, so this guy says that my account has been affected with a virus and will beterminated in an hour. True or false? if false, what should i report him as? Jagex impersonation? thank you for the help...

He is obviously lieing. Just ignore him.

 

Report him if he is trying to scam you or gain your password.

 

Report him if he claimed to be Jagex staff.

well he never asked me for my password or anything. he said he helps jagex out.

sounds like a load of proverbial to me, where did you get the message? if:

 

 

 

in game - check whether the guy has a jagex staff crown, if not hes lying, if he does then.... i guess u do have an afected accoun (never heard of them before tbh)

 

 

 

jagex message - yep, you are infected still never heard fo this before

 

 

 

Email inbox - nope, scammy scammerson. inpersonating jagex, give it the boot, JAGEX WILL NEVER EMAIL YOU

ok so i guess he was lying, even though it seems strange that he didn't ask for my password or anything. I guess i can stop worrying.
