June 24, 200620 yr Thanks in advance for answering. 1. What headgear should an F2P archer wear? 2. I am currently level 56 in Ranged, where should I train if I am equipped with maple shortbow and iron arrows? Thanks again. Ever notice how the arrows always land at a spot between lesser demons' legs?
June 24, 200620 yr 1. the best we have is a coif, but I don't wear it because I would rather look at my cool hair and it only gives a +2 to range 2. at 56 range I trained at Mossies (I still do) because they are easy enough to kill, decent drops, easy to find safespots, and usually someone to talk to while I'm there. some people like to train at lessers (once they hit 60 range) as well, but honestly I couldn't get the hang of it so I just stick to killing Mossies Goals: 80/80 Range, 75/90 Strength, 77/85 Attack, 64/76 Fishing and crafting 31k natures (o.O)
June 24, 200620 yr Use: Coif ......................... +2 ranged attack Green d'hide body .... +15 ranged attack Green d'hide chaps ... +8 ranged attack Green d'hide vamb ... +8 ranged attack Maple shortbow ........ +29 ranged attack Amulet of power ....... +6 ranged attack not important also good have: Leather boots for +1 defence Cape for +1 defence Train until level 60 at King Scorpions (no drops but the best XP) For drops Moss giants until 60 For 60+ you can continue on Moss giants or Lesser demons. Note: Lessers is a waste of time if u got less then level 60 ranged. EDIT: The best is your attack bonus the better is your chance of having a sucesseful attack.
June 24, 200620 yr If you've done Knights sword, you'll know where blurite ore is. In that cave are ice giants and ice knights. If you go in there go to the left (middlesh of the cave). It's a kind of safe spot but the knights can get you (after a while they'll stop attacking.) The ice giants are easy to kill, loads of exp (prayer aswell) and you get runes and crap. That's how i got 60 ;) I either wore (for headgear) a rune full helm (cause of those damn knights) or nothing. |Noobs |Ebaums steals!|Go Stephie!|http://
June 24, 200620 yr I either wore a rune full helm (cause of those damn knights) or nothing. It's also a good monster. In case of it is too much people there or you hate thouse heavy armored knights try go to west of wildness 42. Lot's of free Ice giants, spots to hide and pkers don't usualy go there (in case you want to risk alittle).
June 25, 200620 yr Author Thank you all very much for answering. Another question, NPCs are seen sometimes wearing armours or having natural armour of their own. Does this indicate their defense? (IE: white knights wear plate armour, does it mean they take more damage from magic and resist arrows?" Ever notice how the arrows always land at a spot between lesser demons' legs?
June 25, 200620 yr Must of their weakneses are explain in the bestiary topic in tip.it main menu. Yes some have more defence then others even when they have same hp. Some hit harder others don't. I'm not sure but i think that plated monsters are weak to magic and strong against ranged and melee. Not sure! Anyway i leveled my combat from level 69 to 86 in black knights and they were giving me around 350xp/min (it's good) with rune scimitar. The max i could get was 400xp/min in king scorpions with scimitar. People say that plated monsters are weak to crush weapons, and yes it's true but the fast scimitar still wins the warhammer on them. It's just a question of trying... some other monsters are weak to arrows like elfs or weak to fire spells like demons or weak to earth spells like steel dragons....
