Minoture: The Traveling Legend Keeper of All Taverns

Legend has it that a wandering warrior named Minoture has begun camping out in various taverns and has began telling stories. These stories range from serious to wacky. Maybe you can find him in many of the Runescape worlds, if you do he may tell you a story for a pint, or for a few coins he may even make up a legend about you!

The Legend of the (drunk) Shade Slayer:

It was right here in the Barbarian Tavern. A famous warrior had stopped by to drink a few beers and took a few with him. He staggered out of the Tavern when he realised he had a bone in his inventory. 'Maybe' he though, 'Saradomin will prevent my hang-over tomarrow if I bury a bone for him!'

So the warrior fell over and began diggin a small hole. He placed the bones in and covered them in dirt. Suddenly the spirit of the Barbarian the warrior had killed arose from the ground.

"Zamarock sent me back for revenge you foolish drunkard!"

The warrior blinked, and started staggering away, afraid the alcohol had finally gotten to his head.

"Sssssssstop!" The shade shrieked as it began to claw at the warrior.

The warrior slowly sized up the shade. It was a much higher level than him, and obviously had Zamarock on his side, but what the heck, I'm drunk anyways!

So the warrior began to retaliate. He fought boldly, hiting harder and less often then usual. Soon he was very close to death.

'If I go out, I go out drinking!' He thought, and downed a few of the tankards in his backpack that he had saved. He felt better afterwards, and began to fight with even greater strength (and worse accuracy!).

Amazingly the warrior triumphed over the Shade. He might have recieved a Shade robe, if only he hadn't been to drunk to see it, and instead of celebrating his victory, he collapsed and fell asleep.

THIS STORY I KNOW IS TRUE, THAT WARRIOR WAS ME!
