It depends on how quick the fish come in, but fly fishing gives less exp quicker. I entered you name and at 68 14,941 Trout or 10,672 salmon or something like 9960.(about 2 thirds) trout and 3557 salmon (lvl 75- 20exp away). Or 6,900 lobsters. At about 3 fly fished fish per lobster I'd say fly fishing is faster, as you'd end up with 20,700 Salmon etc. And I did that with tip.it calcs and planners plus the EXP table, amazing what a calculator and a planner for RS can do.
July 1, 200620 yr Alot faster, especially if you fish at Shilo Village. I like to use the trout and salmon (if you keep it instead of just sell to the shop), for agility and thieving, it's great just to have some lower food in your bank incase you need it. My Guide To The Abyss
July 1, 200620 yr A f2p should never train with lobsters knowing that the only places to fish them are the wilderness and karamja. Tree's are so far away and the bank is miles off. In this case, since ur p2p lobsters would give you a profit and you don't need feathers.
July 1, 200620 yr I had read all these threads about fly fishing, but never gave it any thought. Last week, I decided to get to 76 fishing (from 71 at the time). I started out doing lobsters, then figured I'd try out fly fishing in Shilo. It takes about 2-3 minutes to get a full load fly fishing, and even if the majority of them are trouts, as opposed to salmon, you still get around 2k xp per load. Run to the bank and go back to fishing in less time than you would get one load of lobsters. Took me about 3 days to get to 76 If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]
