I don't have great stats really but i got fire giants for slayer and i am wondering whether 2 change it or not. my combat stats are:

 

Att=70

 

Str=68

 

Def=65

 

HP=67

 

Magic=55

 

Range=41

 

Prayer=46

 

Should i just change? :?

if you mage/range/hally, keep the task, otherwise switch

your stats are good for hallying, but with your mage and range i wouldnt mage/range them or melee close up.

Oh please, my stats are worse than his, and I can up-close-melee Fire Giants just fine. No Prayer needed or anything. I say go for it, but be prepared to make multiple trips as you'll be needing a fair amount of food (dependant on how many you have to kill).

ye see most people dont like takin multiple trips, and wasting loads of food.

Well when I melee'd Fire Giants I was lower level than I am now, and I had those blasted Wild Dogs attacking me while I waited for the Giant to respawn (or even when I tried going to one that was already spawned) in the Brimhaven dungeon. At his/her level he/she could melee them in the Waterfall Dungeon with considerably less food than I used (and I was only using Swordfish...could stay longer with Sharks or better).

 

 

 

Of course, the choice is his/hers. Who knows, he/she might get a kick out of being able to gloat to his/her friends about the time he/she completed a Fire Giant Slayer task using melee and no Halberd. Only person that would know that is him/herself
