I know this is likely a very dumb question... but how in the world do you get into the Dwarven Mines to buy a pick axe? I've checked the Rune Tips Dwarven map to see the entrances/exits, but for whatever reason I can't seem to find the way in at any of them (and I'm not high enough in mining to get into the guild to try that entrance). If you are using the free servers, and not in the guild, is there no way into the mines?

West of barbarian village is monastery.

 

 

 

West of Monastery (and a teensy bit west-southwest) is a bridge over to a mountain.

 

 

 

don't go up the mountain, instead go to nearby buildings which are south.

 

 

 

there's a trap door that leads down into the mines. The ore shop is nearby; to get to pick shop go south, then west, then north.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. The problem was, I'd gone to the monastery, thinking it was where the map said the mines were. Couldn't for the life of me figure out why I couldn't find a latter down. Thanks again! :D

another way, is go to falador east bank, and go east to all the houses, slightly north of there next to the very big house is a staircase dow into the mines. :D

Yeah, I always take that one, but annoying for lower levels because of the King Scorpions.

Yeah, I really wouldn't be able to take that route yet. For the time being, I only was trying to get into the mine to buy the pick axe. But eventually I may mine there... but definitely couldn't face the king scorpions. My mining level is 34, but since I just started rune a little while ago (a week or so maybe), my attack levels are all low. But I'll remember that entrance if I ever get good/brave enough to take on those scorpions. Thanks :D
