Watch Tower Quest....trouble entering Enclave...any ideas?

I have almost completed Watch Tower Quest but find I cannot re-enter

 

the Enclave....the Nightshade doesn't work on the Enclave Guard the second time.

 

 

 

If anyone has a suggestion as to what will solve my problem please advise

I had the same, you have to use it on the guard, CLICK THE TEXTBOX and then enter the cave.

 

I tried using it and immediatly running in but got caught every time, so I clicked the text box once and got in :oops:
