I'm not sure if they are more abundant elsewhere, but I've seen a few pineapple plants south of the house portal, near where the narrow part is when traveling from brimhaven to tai bo wanna

There's a food shop somewhere in the grand tree. I happen to know there's also 2 of them. This knowlege came in handy the day Recipe for Disaster came out. While there was 5+ people camping at one shop waiting for the items to respawn, I walked over to the other shop and bought my items.
