i heard there was a pot or something that gives u a cooking bonus like +5 or something does any1 know what it is?

You get a little extra exp if you cook on a range other than a fire, if that's what you're talking about.

They're cooking gauntlets, they become available after the family crest quest and they basically add 10 to your cooking level.
