Ok I am an old player started playing 2002 and this has been around since then. So when you are in port sarim and go to the Gold shop the door automaticly closes if you open it. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

I noticed... just thought it was susposed to do that.

yes, in merlins crystal (I think), it is kept closed so that when you try and open it the next part of quest can take place. BEfore I became a member, though, I thought it still made sense, because a gold store would want to have that extra layer of protection.

yes, in merlins crystal where when u try to open the door, a tramp appears, and begs u for bread. and that turns out to be the lady of the lake

ya but on f2p i always thought it was cuz it was like a security system to keep out burglers.

i think ur wrong...

i think the door was like that before that quest was around
