Ok not too long ago i reformated my computer lossing my sound, i have found out its not my sound card cause i have changed it and its not my speakers cause i used them on my mums laptop(and bought a new cool pair) i think its like a sound cd i need to install the sound thing i havent got a clue what its called what the cd is called or if i can just download it any ideas?

Go to Start>Right click o nmy computer>properties>Hardware>Device manager>Click the plus next to Sound,Video and game controllers, please take a picture of what shows.

i know this sounds dumb but check that you haven't muted the sound on your computer
