July 18, 200619 yr burying them in front of the alter does nothing. you have to use the bones on the alter for it to work while the burners are lit so in short: dont bury!!! ~hawt Knight of the Void~Barrows drops: 3. veracs brassard, torags hammers & dharoks greataxe (double drop)
July 18, 200619 yr Daylight, its like how the ectofungus gives you 4x the xp per bone, a gilded altar gives 3.5x the xp, but is worth that little loss because it is so much faster than the ectofungus. Hope that clears it up. (No, I don't have an altar, but I am looking for one!)
