July 20, 200619 yr You think it would rock if jagex made a world for only hardcore characters? I mean something like in diablo 2.....you can make a hardcore character and if it dies then you lose the character. Normal characters can't log in hardcore worlds so they won't be able to drop trade their pkers. Hardcore characters can log in to normal worlds though so they can buy supples once they have money and skills.
July 20, 200619 yr A couple of thoughts: What would stop everyone from creating a hardcore character and just playing in the normal worlds? Maybe hardcore get no xp in normal worlds? If hardcore can still log into normal worlds, then drop trading with normal players could still happen. It seems that to do this, you would need to completely split it from the existing Runescape, which seems unlikely to happen. Still, sounds like an intriguing idea. I wouldn't do it though, I don't have the guts :ohnoes:
July 20, 200619 yr Author good points they could make hardcore characters attack only in their own world and not normal world.....something like what what member stuff is to f2p...when it says you must be in a members world hardcore players won't be able to see any drops.....even from monsters I know this will never happen but it would be fun pking 8-)
