OK... This is my advice on runecrafting. I promise you'll get your rc up from level 1 to 20 in a matter of an hour or so... provided you have about 5K (you can get this from the stronghold of security if you dodge the monsters! I did it with a lvl 3 character)

 

 

 

Step 1

 

Get your money, spend about 4K on tiaras. Buy them at Al Kharid, they're usually in full stock meaning 30gp each. Just buy a bunch of them (150 should do).

 

 

 

Step 2

 

Find a way to get talis. Either stick around some guys fighting guards or wait around at the general store. Or you could post here and purchase them that way.

 

 

 

Step 3

 

Start going in circles. Get all the talis you need and start from Varrock going counterclockwise. Bring all the body talis and tiaras you can. If you have more than 14, stop at edgeville and drop off your enchanted tiaras and bring back more to enchant, repeat if necessary.

 

 

 

If you can fit enough, take as many mind tiaras as possible into your inventory. Enchant those, but since the walk takes so long, just do it once, don't bother repeating this step.

 

 

 

Make your way to Fally, drop off your tiaras and stock up on air talis and tiaras and make air tiaras. Again, chances are you'll get lots of air talis so make multiple runs.

 

 

 

On your last air tiara run, either stock enough water talis and tiaras or with just your airs (in the latter case, just stop at draynor bank and grab your water talis and tiaras). Just like the mind tiaras, don't bother making multiple trips. If you're a member, use your duel ring, if not, walk. Also take fire talis and tiaras if you can fit them so you don't waste a trip to the bank.

 

 

 

Make your fire tiaras and deposit everything in the bank. If you have more money to buy tiaras with, buy more now. If you have more fires, now is a good chance to do a second run. Otherwise, fill up with earth and go north.

 

 

 

By the time you do your earth talis you should have completed the cycle. Now for the last step. Sell them all... doesn't matter how, but keep in mind that the tiaras = 30gp and the talis can cost anywhere from 5 - 100gp. You can sell enchanted tiaras (one at a time) for 40 gp while you wait for more talis to pop up. From this point you would go the beginning of step 3, counterclockwise with body talis.

Yeah, it's a good method for beginning rc'ers because you can make any tiaras at lvl 1.

Obtaining talismans is so tedious, this only works if you're just getting into rc and have been gathering talis since you've been playing. I was trying to use up 200+ tiaras I had with the enchanting method, but Got so bored after extrememly long periods of tali hunting that I gave up and sold em all to a general store.
