Fire cape question

Featured Replies

I'm a lvl 103 going for a fire cape and need some advice on killing the 702. I'm using guthans to get to him but have trouble switching back and forth between prayers while ranging him. I've looked at a couple guides and they aren't much help. Is there a trick to this besides watching his feet or just general tactics?

I'm always buying snapdragon seeds, name your price.

Sound effects. They can be a life-saver, or so i've heard.

Edit: Here's a great little helper that can get you used to which prayer to use.

Condor85's "Here comes Jad!"

Hmm, don't know about you. But the sound effects don't work for me. But they use to.

the range attack sounds like fire wave, also kind of like thunder and you cant hear it before it hits you which is why people start with range pray, the mage attack sounds like retribution, when its going to mage it stands on its back paws and stands quite far up, with range its back paw goes up a slight bit before it slams onto the ground, if that made sense. its way faster than it looks and just take it slowly dont get trigger happy and end up dying because of it.

By the time you hear the sound of the attack it is too late to switch I believe. When I tried it I got nailed with an 80's hit soz.
