Hello, I just set ipv6 up on my computer. It seems pretty nice.

 

 

 

Anyone else using ipv6?

 

 

 

I can easily tell that it's a bit faster on the router, and from what I've read it's a bit more secure. I wish more things would use ipv6 though.

Hmmm i didnt event know ipv6 worked yet (apart from professional testing), didnt u have to change some hardware? It is any more secure i thought it just allowed for more ips ?

You can set up ipv6 tunneling. It's not very hard (For me..).

 

Took a few hours to set up.

 

 

 

Hopefully some ISPs will start offering ipv6 in some of their plans in the years to come.

 

 

 

Anyways, it comes with quite a bit more than that.

I sort of use it. I have all the *nix boxes using it, but they fall back to IPv4 if Ipv6 isn't supported (like by Windows or my ISP).
