  1. It could just be more people in your area are getting the same service. All the people in your area would be sharing bandwidth, so it could just be more usage than there was before. It might also be interference of some sort. Try relocating your antennae to see if that helps.
  2. 3. You could just search your computer for mp4 files and see if you find the one you converted.
  4. To make sure it's overheating you should heat up your processor and see if it does it. If any apps such as Speedfan. Use Prime95 to heat up your processor. Choose just benchmarking when it first starts. Then go to Options>Torture Test>In Place FFT's Let this run for a while, while monitoring you CPU temps. Post your temps and whether or not your computer restarted.
  5. I'm thinking we need to sticky on of these threads. There is *a lot* of threads how to capture video in a game.
  6. What kind of windows are you talking about? Do you mean IE/FF/Opera or some other browser, or ANYTHING? If it's just your browser, try holding "Control" and scrolling up on your scroll wheel on your mouse.
  7. That's pretty cool. That's about what Vista does with windows, but they're stationary, so it's less complicated. Lol, One of the great features of Vista is on line of Javascript. :D
  8. Your install is probably dead. That "Error message" coming up is not actually an error. Your NIC is trying to boot of another computer on your network (That's what PXE booting is). This probably started because your boot order is set to boot from your harddrive, then PXE boot. Since it now can't boot off your harddrive, it tries to PXE boot. You are seeing this now because your computer won't boot, so it's not the cause, the computer computer not booting is the cause of this.
  9. All programs are going to take a while. It's encoding the pictures into an MPG2 video. You're losing quality because you're watching it on a T.V. T.V.s are crap compared to computer monitors.
  10. A simple Windows key + Pause/Break will work. When it comes up just click the hardware tab -> Device Manager.
  11. What are you using this laptop for? There really is no best computer, I could easily build a $10,000 computer that sucks at gaming, or build a $10,000 computer that's not for AutoCAD. So first of all, what are you using it for?
  12. See, even with an x1900XTX (ATI's best video card atm) he doesn't even get playable framerates.
