kagerou
I'm trying my best to get as much smtihing / rune crafting levels as possible before I get a members account. I've realized that body runes will give me the best xp for rc, and I've come up with this sort of sequence to prepare for raising my smithing too (I haven't touched smithing yet but I'm stocking up on goods). Start at edgeville with body tiara equipped, 27 rune essence and about 1000gp (or if you have them, some tiaras and body talis). Run to body alter, meld runes, then proceed to the dwarf mines Trade with Drogo. Tin and Copper in amounts over 14 are 1g each, Iron over 44 is 1g each... and Coal is fairly inexpensive. Turn run off unless you're lazy... go back to edgeville... re-equip and repeat. Switch words if you have to! Happy hunting
noname713
it's nearly impossible to find decent amounts of coal in that shop Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^ Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!!
kagerou
true, at the least I can get iron and sell it for 50 each and make a 49gp profit... I have to walk to the body alter to craft runes anyway, I might as well make the extra trip. Just get coal whenever I can.
noname713
why not sell the iron for 100 each and make 99 gp profit? :P also, earth runes are just slightly less exp and can be sold for 20 gp each (meaning even if you only get 1 rune per ess, you can still break even), plus if you have the woodcutting level, there's a yew conveniently located right next to the altar Fear the frog reaper.
