August 4, 200619 yr Author DAAU: A Sin So Nasty Apocalyptica: Deathzone 2 great bands that combine classical with hard rock/metal; both more instrumental than lyrical. Apocalyptica is a well-known band, but DAAU is a little less known, though they're better, IMHO. And since all vibrations are theoretically sound, then it is not unreasonable to suggest that the universe is music and should be perceived as such.

August 9, 200619 yr Author Beethoven: Ode to Joy This one stands alone; it's the epitome of beauty. Enjoy, though I really shouldn't say that, if you can't enjoy this, you're deaf. August 11, 200619 yr My first musical love was classical music. The first CD I bought was the Planet Suite by Gustav Holst. I've always liked classical music. Nowadays I listen to all sorts, nearly every genre but still have a lot of respect and time for classical music. I have an album called Utopia, lots of new age chilled out classical music, a lot of classical theme tracks from famous films. It's great. For music lovers the structure and level of composition on a lot of this music is as high or just as high as any progressive or concept rock. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
