I've been working on it all day with Gimp 2.0. It needs some finishing touches, the contrast and shading is a bit odd in some parts, but its getting closer to done

 

 

 

Should be easier once my computer's sketch pad comes in the mail...

pretty cool, but ur rendering is messed up,the image doesnt blend with the background, the texturte u used, the tile looking stuff is good and the text looks fine, its just missing some blend
