i want to do the quest and i have 57 smithing currently makign steel bars can i use dwarven stout or some pot to make my requirement less than 65?

I believe you only need 65 smihting to grind down the mith 2h, so if you use a dwarven stout or something to get to it for that part, you should be fine.

EDIT: I just checked the tip.it quest guide, and that's the only part that has anything to do with smithing

yea but u know how everyone knows for regicide u can just get 53 agility and use pot right. well legends u need 50 but for som reason u cant use a pot at 47. so im not sure ahs someone who ahs done this confirm?

cmon ppl has anyone done with without 65 smithing? And also it seems u have to make a mith 2h is that the only raeon u need 65? cause then i dotn need it seeing as i can buy. but if u need 65 smithing to use the 2h wiht the whetstone then ill have ot get 65 i guess

use dwarven stout at 64 or the mature 1 at 63

Most quest requirements that force you to DO something with your skill are potable. Most quest requirements that do not force you to do/make something specific with your skill usually aren't.

 

 

 

This one requires you to smith a specific thing so it is potable.
