Hi there when the poll first started on tip it the options were displayed and I could vote now just the title and link to archives appear...I've not changed anything I can think of...can anyone help ...Im sure I've probably changed something just clueless to what

Did you perhaps turn JavaScript off?

 

 

 

If you did, there should be a bar at the top of the page (below the brown home/forum/chat/etc. bar) saying you've disabled it.

Hi sorry no that actual box shown in the instructions you kindly linked too was already enabled I'll try some other options within there though one at a time and see if it gets anywhere thing is I don't think I have changed anything lately at all within the security settings. Thanks for your help though sorry I've been so delayed in getting back to you.

If you're using a dialup ISP, you may have been assigned an IP address from someone else that already voted. It's been posted about a few times and unfortunately there isn't really any way to reliably track voters annonymously and keep the poll somewhat accurate.

 

 

 

If you don't use dialup we'll have to prod one of the crewbies that coded it up to see what else is preventing you from voting. :?
