goodcountry
i have to kill 141 more black demons for my slayer assignment. my question is where should i kill them? edgeville dungeon or basement of the grand tree? ive never fought them in the grand tree which is why im asking. also, should i wear melee armor and melee them, or prayer setup and fight them using prayer? dogfever
The one in the grand tree is only there during the Grand Tree quest I think. Maybe there are others but I never found them. You could try brimhaven dungeon as well, it has wild dogs which are fairly annoying but at least it isn't wildy? There has to be a trick where you can set your cannon up and then cut the vines back though to the section with only one wild dog in. The members/taverly dungeon is probably quite good too although it might be busy.
goodcountry
okay so i have fought the grand tree one. forgot it was from a quest. thanks. i think ill stick with the edgville for now, for proximity to a bank/prayer altar. now which setup do you think would be better? i killed about 16 of them with 24 lobsters and regular str/att/def potions, also draining my prayer when i got low on food. dogfever
Hard to say, given that you are in wildy it depends on what you are prepared to lose. If you are eating the I suppose full rune and best wep + str/att pots. Otherwise you could pray using monk's robes and a holy symbol (blessed obviously) but that really requires pray pots. The advantages to prayer: You don't stand to lose much if you are pked, with enough pray pots you could do a fair amount at one time The disadvantages: 1 ppot = 7k so the expense is prohibitive. I, personally would see how I went in full rune, if I wasn't killing them efficiently I'd probably burthorpe it or try and find a range safespot. kwimbob
No, kill them in Taverly dungeon. The southern stalagmite in their room is a huge range spot, there's like 4 possible halberd spots on it, and there are many other safe spots in the other corners behind smaller stalagmites. There are tons of demons in the room, too. It's really the only place you should kill them. To get to the black demons, though, you either have to have a dusty key and walk all the way around the dungeon and past the blue dragons or you can just have 70 agility and go strait to the end of the blue dragon lair without needing the key. You won't really need an anti shield if you run past the dragons because they're usually all taken but you could use a mage prayer if you want to. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well. And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.[hide]YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.- See You, Space Cowboy.[/hide][/hide]
