Ok, here is my suggestion. A new armor called Barbarian armor. Have you ever walked through barbarian villiage and looked at what the barbarians wear? Have you ever wanted that armor...or maybe that axe?

 

 

 

So here is my idea. The defense of the armor would be either equal to or slightly lower than mithril. There would be 5 pieces of armor and an axe.

 

 

 

The Headband: Similar to helmet but low in defense gives a str bonus*.

 

 

 

The Pelt: The body armor also low in defense but w/ str bonus*

 

 

 

The loincloth: The leggings low in def but w/ str bonus*

 

 

 

The Large Boots: Very good def for boots and w/ str bonus as well*

 

 

 

The Wristband(dif name?): little higher defense than regular gloves but w/ added str bonus*

 

 

 

Each piece of armor also has better Mage defense close to mage def found on green d'hide armor. But it has low ranged defense as it is theoretically a leather type material

 

 

 

* the str bonus can only be obtained if every piece of the armor is worn at the same time. The str bonus would not be overly substantial but still would make the armor somewhat the offensive opposer of rune.

 

 

 

The Enormous Axe: Essentailly a 2handed Rune battle axe. However the overall speed would be as slow as R 2hander. Yet stronger than both R2h and rune baxe.

 

 

 

*This weapon must be equipped to receive str bonus from the armor as well.

 

 

 

This is all I've come up with at this moment. If anyone has any suggestions on this idea. Or you just want to comment on whether or not it is a good idea please do. All critique is appreciated.

Strength bonuses usually come with a very high price. If this type of armor has all these str bonuses, it would be very expensive. Think about the berserker ring. The other rings are like 700kish where as the berserker is over 3m!

Barbarians kind of don't wear armor so much as paint. Are you going to make a new spell? Enchant Paint.
